Inspired by Natural Emotions

I cannot even describe how powerful was that phrase for me. It said something like "a heart never suffered when it went after its dreams." Sounds easy but we are always afraid of losing something we have for getting something better perhaps. That's the meaning of sacrifice and opportunity cost that economics classes talk about. Forgone something in order to get something else (better). I want to take the risk and adventure myself in the world... If my dreams don't come true, that's okay... I will only make the necessary adjustments and keep living my life and creating other dreams. There are so many things to do.

I feel like I'm understanding this world and this life a little bit more. I just need to fall in love to give all the love I have for that special someone... That's the law "fall in love" and "love much."

I just want this to happen again and I just wish you could tell me you want this to happen again again and again too... I wouldn't mind. I can forget everything and start over again pretending nothing happened in the past. That easy! Whenever you feel ready!

The time left an unforgettable memory, I can stop the world right now and hear you say you want this to happen one more time... Our lives are so different now but the memories in our hearts are the same.

Love for me is...

I have learned that love is not a possession and that love can wait. Love is something special and it doesn't happen only once.
Love is when you only think about where he might be right now, love is when you want to protect him from storms and winds... Love is when you give him a hug and forget about the time... Love is when you realize about your feelings and get nervous :O

I love reading inspirational quotes.

I don't know how can I talk about this, I don't pretend to address my thoughts to anybody... These are just random thoughts that I just want to share. I love creativity and design. I just want to see this 10 years later... I hope my children find it.

I love the stories in my life, I add some claudistic magic to the precious moments haha just because I like them and because I treasure the moments in my life don't matter how insignificant they might seem... They make me so happy.

I have come to understand that it is about me feeling happy with myself and with the people around me. The happiness is in my hands and it depends a lot on the way I manage it. Yes, people in my life make me happy like when I see a friend that comes to visit me after having moved so far away... Or when someone prepares me a surprise or when my sister gets me something I have been wanting so bad (material things? Who cares? But they give you satisfaction, agh) and many other things. Yeah I feel extremely happy when something good happens... But how do I keep it? Yes that's the question... It's your choice! I have decided to be happy and make myself happy regardless of the things that make me worried or sad. No, I don't want to give any space to sadness in my life.

I try hard to forget the bad/sad moments that happen to me and I replace them by doing the things I love. Yes, practice more the things you love... You have no idea! The way you see life will change a lot! I can promise you that!

You will discover yourself and realize that you are awesome even if people don't even know about the things you can do or who you really are. You don't need anyone to tell you how great you are, if you know that about yourself... That's enough! You feel good with yourself and don't need to compare yourself with the rest. You probably would like to have other talents, other circumstances, other problems, etc but what is there for you is what makes you unique, deal with it. Appreciate it, don't think too much about it and stop making your life complicated. Life is short, live it up!

Don't look at behind thee... Keep moving forward, don't even try to go back to make changes, the past is past and you've learn from it. I see every day as a new life. I can be different today... I probably didn't do as great as I wanted today but I will tomorrow. I promise it!

How a song can get so stuck in my head?  

It’s because I can identify myself in some verses or because I wish things in the adventures of my life were like the ones described in a song.

Maná: It’s a Pop/Rock Mexican band. It’s the best band in the whole Latin America, they appeared a long time ago and their 90’s old songs keep blasting all over the world. Their newest songs keep getting better and better! Everyone loves them! I have known people that love this band not even knowing Spanish. They are so legit! I can say that they are and will be like The Beatles, which means that all their songs are liked by everyone. My favorite songs in Spanish come from this band. I love the things they talk about and the way they think about romantic love.

Tears of Happiness

Watching this video has reminded me about the love I feel for the sacred things that I can perform in the temple. I feel so identified with the story of this three youth, I feel like if it is me who is talking in that video because is so similar to how I felt when I was there in August and the yearns of the two siblings of getting sealed to their parents are so similar to my desires 4 years ago.

 I know this is truth, this temple is another house of the Lord Jesuschrist.

That city is my style. I love diversity. I love landscapes, bridges, ships, fishing, walks around the city, ups and downs, buildings and looking at handsome boys, tons of cuties! (That’s the truth, as long as I’m single, I will have eyes for everything and everybody J It’s part of my life, part of my youth, part of me ♥).

Think about the things you have done, they might not be as awesome as traveling around the world or they might not be as cool as discovering a new galaxy but they made you feel super happy or satisfied when they happened.

I feel very grateful for all the big, small, and kinda small moments that have happened in this year. It seems like every year of my life is getting better and better and that makes me feel very excited to face the future. I wish I could recall all the marvelous things that I have experienced this year right now…  Good thing I love to record them in my journal. Just a few of them are coming to my mind right now and I can just break down in tears because those have been pure blessings from God. I know that He answers our prayers; I know there is a God… Everything around us testifies of His existence. Contemplate the sky at night or go up a mountain and look down at everything that your eyes can see and think about how you feel when you see the marvelous creations of this world.

11 Things I have learned since 2000 until 2011

• Year 2000: The world was not going to end in2000. (After having made it through the whole year.)
• Year 2001:Breaking the rules can lead you to misery. Be smart and go for what hasbeen already established as right. That will always lead you to the bestresults. (Being rebel was not making me happy).
• Year 2002: The future is in my hands, I candecide today to be a different person and that can make all the difference. (Iwanted to make a change in my life, be the best I could and go after my dreams)
• Year 2003: My life has a meaning! (Istarted to understand the purpose of my life thanks to the gospel ofJesuschrist that had been introduced to me towards the end of 2002.
• Year 2004: I knew I could do it! (Iwanted to be excellent in all the aspects I could, the main one was getting thebest grades of my class, I did! I was in first place!)
• Year 2005: A single change in my life cangive me a completely new life. (Moved to a new house in a new neighborhood,started going to a new school, made new friends. That changed my life again!
• Year 2006: Fear not, everything will be okay.Everything will turn out good for you, only for your good. (After havinghad 2 surgeries, I went through a very hard recuperation process. I was worriedfor the whole month I missed of school and for having a normal healthy life.Everything turned out amazingly great.)
• Year 2007: Don’t stop believing (I had prayedfor almost 5 years for something to happen in my family, every time I prayed Ifelt that it was going to happen sooner or later but it was going to happen. Ithappened!)
• Year 2008: Take all advantage of theopportunities you have right now. They might never come again. (I decided Ishould come to USA to study and prepare for life.)
• Year 2009: You are not alone. (I made itthrough a year so far away from my family, it was hard at the beginning to beall by myself but God gave me strength and put many angels around me to bare meup. I did things I never thought I would do that had to be part of my way tothe fulfillment of my dreams.)
• Year 2010: Have a positive attitude, take iteasy, and be still. (Sometimes things do not work the way I want to and thatadds many complications to my life. Those complications usually take time andmoney away from me. Time is a precious thing for me and money is indeed thesource of my temporal living. Here is when I have to show patient and hope thateverything will be okay at the end by putting in practiced what I have learned.Life is a test!)

The 2011, oh the 2011. I gotta love it. Great things havehappened. YEAR 2011: If you want to behappy you need to learn how to prioritize. (I have learned that I shouldnot change what is important and of a great value for me for something/someonethat is not compatible with my beliefs, priorities and standards. I have hadgreat decisions to make, I have had to decide between those that are good,better and best. Someone taught me that the best decision will always be theone that benefits my fellowman.)

The Beatles are… Wow!

I went to The Beatles LOVE show from the Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas this last weekend and it was ridiculously amazing! I’ve heard is the best show of the Cirque du Soleil.

All You Need is LOVE!

Tons of incredible special effects! That show made me happy that I still cannot stop thinking about how amazing it was… I felt many special feelings while my favorite songs were being interpreted.

Small and Simple Things

Lately... I've been feeling way super happy. I consider myself a very happy person and when hard times or stressful days come I try hard to see good things through bad things and mostly keeping a good attitude. But these last days have been perfect. Beautiful days, success at work, doing the things I love like learning to play the viola, learning that song I love in the piano, making my friends laugh, having a good time with my friends, etc and all the rest of things that you already know that make you feel happy.

I feel very happy with myself and every little and big thing around me. I love looking at the sky, people, houses, cars, buildings, nature and breath deeply. I love myself, I love being a woman and I love belonging to the family I belong. I guess I love my freedom and everything that rules my freedom.

Today I went to the Lion House in State street and South Temple with my good friend David for lunch. What a place!!!! I loved it! As we were walking towards the restaurant, I was just looking around and admiring the beautiful day and we both told each other how awesome it felt just walking in downtown in such a beautiful day.

I love Salt Lake City very much because it is a small city but big enough I must say. I love exploring it! I love to see the people with weird styles. That's like art for me. I love the little shops all over the place, taking pictures and the noise of a city and the smell of city.

Anyway, I just think that I'm feeling super happy that anything makes me happy.

We got to share a very sinful dessert from the Lion House... It changes your life!

I Miss You, Mom

Today is Mother’s day in El Salvador. This day makes me miss my mom more than any other day. I think that my mom will go straight to heaven. Those who know her can tell that she has a very humble heart. She is so kind, patient, loving, caring and an amazing cook. She is the best representation of pure and true love.  I think that if someday I become like my mom, I would have become more like Christ. My greatest love is for her, I love her with everything I am.

When you feel scared of making a decision you should move first with conviction and then see the results instead of trying to see what the results will be without having even made a move

So often we are tentative and don’t move forward with conviction. We feel along our way as if we were afraid in the dark. I Met Shaun White:: Once in a lifetime opportunity.

Yes, I met Shaun White! Olympic gold medalist in snowboarding.
I went out with my friends yesterday, we went to Midway to see the ice castles and on our way back we decided to stop in Park City for some good pizza. We went to the Pizza and Noodle restaurant on main street. It was around 11PM, the restaurant was closing but they still let us in. We got a table, started laughing and talking when all of a sudden I heard camera flashes near of us so some of my friends saw that a couple was taking pictures with the real and notorious Shaun White. Yes! It was Shaun White, my friends went crazy and I went crazy too haha! :D So we ran very quick to his table to take pictures with him, he was very cool about it. My friends got tons of pictures with him and he was very happy to take pictures with us. I could feel his awesomeness, he is super rad! I admire him for being so talented. He has been an inspiration for many about being persistent on the fulfillment of personal dreams and goals. He had his hair tied up in the first picture we took and after that he said, "Wait, this is so much better," he untied his hair and yeah that was "the flying tomato."

We got back to our table and planned on keep talking to him again before we leave, so we did!  : ) He is super nice! I accomplished something in my bucket list. It was great! : ) I got a video with him and more pictures! I will put them on YouTube sometime. Look for it! :D
